Deezer Flow’s new swipeable music carousel

Deezer, the world’s most personal music streaming service is introducing a new way for users to discover custom content with Flow. For the first time, music fans will have more input on what they want to hear with the new Flow tab, featuring multi-Flow cards displaying personalized tracklists curated for each individual user.

Flow’s new easy-to-swipe carousel format offers three “inspired by” tracklists grouped by similar artists and a “discover” tracklist for fans that want to hear new artists or tracks. Flow users can swipe right to hear a daily “inspired by” tracklist or listen to new weekly “discover” tracks. Users can add tracklists to their playlists or create a new one.

Flow lovers can also continue to enjoy the same lean-back experience with our signature, one-touch Flow. The first Flow card will play a continuous stream of new and familiar tracks powered by Deezer’s data, algorithm and editorial recommendations.

New Deezer Flow Tab Features include:

  • Flow cards in easy-to-swipe carousel format with more personalized music options
  • Flow – your personal soundtrack that plays all the songs you want to hear
  • Hear 40 recommended tracks from “inspired by” (refreshed daily) and 40 tracks from the “discover” (refreshed weekly) tracklist
  • Save individual tracks or entire tracklists to personal playlists or create a new one
  • Premium+ users can skip or choose specific tracks*

“We believe in providing our users with the ultimate soundtrack to their life – Flow. But like any soundtrack, it has to take their feelings and mood into account. The new Flow Tab evolves our user experience and provides people with more lean back options than ever before. It’s never been easier to choose which direction your Flow will take you, and to enjoy life to your personal soundtrack,” said Alexander Holland, Chief Content and Product Officer.

Deezer Flow Tab is available on all iOS, Android devices and on the Web.

*Note: Freemium users can only play tracklists in shuffle mode
